The policy should establish clear procedures for preventing abuse, reporting concerns, responding to complaints, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting affected children. Staff, volunteers, and partners must follow child-safe practices, respect children's dignity and rights, and act promptly whenever a child's safety is at risk.
